The Modern Edge: Advanced Fiber Laser Systems
What We Use Fibre Laser Engraving For
Fibre laser engraving is used across a wide range of our products, including lighters, keyrings, card holders, plaques, selected bottles and mugs, and jewellery. It is one of our primary engraving methods and has become our main production process due to its precision, versatility, and efficiency.
Our Fibre Laser Technology
We use a Lotus uMeta MOPA 30W fibre laser, an industrial-grade engraving system designed for high-accuracy marking and surface engraving. This advanced laser technology works by directing a focused laser beam onto the surface of the material, heating it precisely to permanently mark or engrave the surface without compromising structural integrity.
Colour Engraving on Steel
A key advantage of our MOPA fibre laser is its ability to engrave colour onto plain steel. By precisely adjusting pulse widths, wavelengths, and power settings, the laser can produce a range of distinct colours directly on the metal surface—without the use of inks, paints, or coatings.
Precision and Detail
Fibre laser engraving excels at producing exceptionally fine detail, even within very small engraving areas. This makes it ideal for our highly detailed themed artwork, logos, and intricate designs, particularly on compact items such as keyrings and lighters where clarity and definition are essential.
Efficiency and Consistency
In addition to quality, fibre laser engraving offers outstanding speed and repeatability. The efficiency of this process allows us to maintain consistent engraving quality across orders while increasing productivity. This also enables us to dedicate more time to what matters most—developing new artwork and expanding our product range.
